Sussex, part one

We’re part way through the Sussex trip. Me, my mum and my teenage sister in a little caravan just outside Battle.

It’s small, but it’s lovely. I could live in something like this, although perhaps not quite so much in the middle of nowhere. I can’t get anywhere without mum and her car. We’re at the bottom of a big muddy hill. But we’ve been having fun in our temporary little home.

Monday evening we played board games, which is always fun, watched some tv and ate a good and simple meal. Nothing spectacular or overly exciting, but it was fun. It’s good to spend some quality time with family.

Today (I’m writing this Tuesday evening) we went to Hastings.

Mostly to visit the Blue Reef aquarium.

It wasn’t big, but very cool. We saw a Mr and Mrs Nemo looking after their eggs..

As well as a Nemo and his dad…

And lots of other very funky fishes.

After the aquarium we had fish and chips by the sea…

While fending off seagulls. And we did a wee bit of souvenir shopping, naturally.

Again, not an exciting day, but fun 🙂 I has a happy.
