Week 16 was cookies 🙂 I’d just recently brought a book of 300 cookie recipes (how convenient!) and decided to use one of those. I picked the pizza cookie.
It’s basically a very large cookie with a lot of toppings on. You’re meant to cook it on a pizza pan, but the only one of those we have won’t fit in our current oven, so I used a springform cheesecake pan because it has the biggest diameter of all my pans.
My first attempt had three types of chocolate chips on top, along with walnuts, mini marshmallows, fudge chunks, strawberry chocolate buttons and orange chocolate buttons. Unfortunately it was also waaayyyy too thick and the toppings had burnt before the middle was even nearly cooked.
So, take two.
This one doesn’t have the two flavours of chocolate buttons, and it ended up being more like a brownie than a cookie, but it was still insanely delicious!
