Zentangle Challenges

Challenge 38 was to use stencils to create your string.  First off, I used these stencils..

But then whilst I was out shopping, I found a pack of new stencils on sale for just 59p, so I had to make another one!  I used this stencil…

Challenge 39 is the second Tackle It Tuesday challenge from Cheryl.  This time the challenge was to use tangles that started with the letter B.

2014-03-06 14.39.27

In there you’ll find Bilt, Bird on a Wire, Boomerang, BB, Borbz, Box Spirals, Bubbles, Batek, Bookee, Betweed, Barberpole and Beadlines

For Challenge 40 I picked from the back catalogue of It’s A String Thing challenges.  The 23rd String Thing challenge was to use this string:

TanglePatterns-String-023

And then to use tangles that started with Ba.  In my piece you’ll find Basketweave, Batch, Barberpole, Bateek, Bales, Baton and Bask-it.

Remember that String Thing challenge I did?  Turns out the creator shows the pieces that have been done in a separate blog post, and I got a mention 🙂  Very cool.

And Challenge 41 is this week’s String Thing.  We got a nice St Patrick’s Day string, and had to use the tangles Lucky and Paradox 🙂

Challenge 42 is the next Tackle It Tuesday – to create a zentangle using tangles beginning with the letter C:

2014-03-11 20.53.10

In there you’ll find Cyme, Cadent, Cubine, Capell, Chordin and Chocobox.  That last one is new to me, and I quite like it.  It looks like little bookworms.
