Recently I found myself somewhere away from my laptop with nothing to do for ten minutes, so I grabbed the small blank notebook from my bag and set up a Zentangle.  I drew a border, and my string, and ….

and froze.  I have well over 200 tangles in my portfolio at home on my desk, but I drew a complete blank when I went to fill in this Zentangle.  I couldn’t think of a single tangle.  Which freaked me out a little.  I guess I’ve gotten used to tangling at my desk, with my portfolio open right next to me so I could flip through it.

I did end up with a small complete Zentangle:

But I have decided I need to do more tangling without looking at the portfolio.
