Monkey Movie Marathon Month

Remember the last blog post with that title?

Well it begins today!  And I have a good list of 32 monkey-based movies to watch:

– Bedtime for Bunzo

– Born to be Wild (the 2011 Imax movie)

– Born to be Wild (the 1995 family movie)

– Chimpanzee

– Congo

– Dunston Checks In

– Ed

– Every Which Way But Loose

– Any Which Way You Can

– Funky Monkey

– Going Ape

– Gorillas in the Mist

– King Kong (1976)

– King Kong (2005)

– Mighty Joe Young

– Monkey Trouble

– Most Valuable Primate

– MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate

– MVP 3: Most Xtreme Primate

– The 5 original Planet of the Apes movies

– Planet of the Apes reboot

– Rise of the Planet of the Apes

– Project X

– Space Chimps

– Space Chimps 2

– Spymate

– Buddy

– Barefoot Executive

That’s one per day, with a spare.  That’s my minimum – at least one monkey movie a day for the month of July. Now, where to start?

Oo, and since Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is released in cinemas this month, I may well add that 🙂
