Post-It Doodles

In my notebook I found the words “post-it doodle”.  I have no idea where this idea came from, probably somewhere online like Tumblr or Reddit, but this is what I’m going to make it of it.

As it says on the tin, doodles on post-its.  But I’m taking it one step further than that.  I already have scrapbooks where I keep my zentangle art, and when I have my own place again I’ll be displaying some on a specially decorated noticeboard, rotating them occasionally.  And I have the bigger pieces I’ve made up on the wall already.  These little post-it doodles will be shared.  Here are the first three I did:

They spent their first few days on various random pages in my notebook, but gradually they found new homes.  I put one in a letter to a friend, and I stuck one on a random page of a book picked randomly from my mother’s bookshelf.

That’s what I’m going to keep doing with them.  Putting them somewhere random where someone someday will stumble across them and find a little piece of art.
