Following along with a growing trend on craft blogs, I’m now going to be writing posts on alternate Wednesdays talking about my crafting Works In Progress.
As you surely know by now, I’ve spent most of the last month making stock for that craft fayre, so don’t really have a lot to talk about here. But I did start a new quilt. Because 10 isn’t nearly enough to have on the go at a time.
The Blog Hop CAL group on Facebook did a short, eight hexagon crochet-a-long in April. I managed to get four done…
…despite miscounting and messing up the first one.
I’ve picked another neon colour to do the other four, and then I’m going to keep going with more hexagon patterns in black and neon.
And now that the craft fayre is over I can get back to Sophie. Here’s where she is now..
She’s currently 36″ but I’ve got a long long way to go on her. I shall, as ever, keep you all updated.
Oh oh oh! I almost forgot.
There is something else. I’ve joined the Fleabubs Rainbow Wrap Monthly Club. Fleabubs is a yarn and hook creator on Facebook, and for just under £10 a month you get a box of five mini skeins of beautiful yarn to build a wrap in a provided pattern – in either knit or crochet.
That was box one, and here’s what mine looked like after I’d done four of those five skeins…
This is box two…
And here is mine at the moment, with 6 of 10 skeins done.
