Item #394 on my Bucket List is to enter the first three letters of my name into Netflix and watch the first thing that comes up. I don’t actually have Netflix, but I have a friend who does, who nicely did me a search and a screenshot.
The first thing on that list is The Hero of Color City, which I managed to find online. And it’s actually not that bad. It’s about crayons that come to life once their little boy falls asleep, and they travel to Color City by using the secret door at the bottom of the crayon box.
I’m not exactly the intended audience, but it’s still kinda cute. Baby Blue is a baby, and Grey is an old man. Aquamarine and Navy Blue are both dressed in military uniforms. Things like that. Lots of little bits of funny. It has some mildly catchy songs, and some quite big name voice stars – Cristina Ricci plays Yellow and Rosie Perez plays Red.
